Hi

Another update from Japan. Ive been slowly knocking off things to do off my
things to do in Japan list:

-take a picture with a Nissan Skyline GTR, check!
-play patchinko, check! Note it was more like i tried patchinko since i didnt
really know what i was doing, i just put money in and all these balls come out
and i had no idea what was going on
-use a japanese style squat toilet, check!
-use a japanese style hi tech toilet, check! The toilet we had in kanazawa was
so hi tech that when you stepped in front of it, it automatically raised the
lid for you, and it had a seat warmer
-attempt a conversation in japanese, check!

last night we stayed in a ryokan, which is a japanese style in, you know with
the tatami mat floors and paper sliding doors. it was so awesome, they come in
to your room and make dinner for you, and then they set up your futons for you,
i felt like a samurai master! hahaha

i have to say that ill never get tired of japanese courtesy. people always
bowing to you and greeting you when go into stores and thanking you when you
leave the store. now thats customer service!

japan is definitely the land of cutesy cutesy stuff, you cant go anywhere
without seeing cute cartoon animals of some sort

tomorrow we are going to the world expo in aichi. should be fun!
